All-Terra Engineering would like to congratulate our field technicians Abiy Harasemy and Patrick Ojeah on successfully completing and passing the SB102 Field Specialist certification exam. By passing their exams, they have helped All-Terra Engineering become more qualified in the area of field testing and inspection. We are so proud of the hard work and dedication to their profession both Abiy and Patrick have shown.
The SB 102 Field Specialist certification is a course that certifies an individual’s ability to properly sample and test soils and flexible base properties in the field in accordance with TxDOT Test Procedures. Individuals must come prepared to pass examinations of associated test procedures through demonstration, verbal and practical methods. Once the evaluations are successfully completed, a final written examination is administered. A score of 80% or higher is necessary to obtain certification.
Test Procedures covered:
Tex-100-E Surveying and Sampling Soils for Highways
Tex-101-E Preparing Soil and Flexible Base Material for Testing (Part III)
