Starting off the New Year with the Fulshear Area Chamber of Commerce, we had the pleasure of listening to Fort Bend County Sheriff Troy Nehls. Sheriff Nehls spoke about the the new open carry laws in Texas and also shared some promising information about the increase in population, the decrease in crime, and the increase in solved cases in Fort Bend over the last few years. He also talked about the new proposed Sheriff’s Office to be built in the Fulshear area. We hope to be a part of that project to perform the geotechnical and construction materials testing on the new facility and makes sure the foundation they are building out there in Fulshear is a solid one!
We had a wonderful time supporting the City of Fulshear and learning about what they are doing and where they are heading for the future. Don McCoy, with the Fulshear Area Chamber of Commerce, emceed the event and Tommy Kuykendall, Mayor of Fulshear, updated us about the exciting things happening in their growing city. We were happy to have Jim and Nicole Zimmermann with Crescent Communities as our guests, as well as Brock Crenek with MBCO Engineering, Heath Lyle with Lyle & Perossa, Derek Rogers with the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce, and our newest addition to the All-Terra family, Julianne Salinas. I would like to thank Alex Masch with 2Step Photography for capturing the moment with myself, Mayor Tommy Kuykendall, and State Representative John Zerwas. “Fulshear Fly-Over”“Fulshear Fly-Over” shown this morning at the State of the City event for the City of Fulshear.
